I love South Padre Island. It's been a family thing with me, since I was a child growing up in Brownsville, our family frequented the island and I spent many a summer day hangin' out at the jetties. With my dad and aunt selling real estate and my dad being involved with developments in Brownsville (Coffee Port Rd ) five kids in the family and a love for the beach it was inevitable that our family would own property here. Starting at The Palms in the late 70's and a couple of more in the ensuing years and now among the family we have three condos. And following in my father's footsteps I am a full time REALTOR® broker on South Padre Island.

I am also a full time resident and I believe in the Island as a great place to live now, and in the future. I've been active in the community since returning after college with my BBA from UT Austin in 1985. Since my return I have been involved in a variety of fun and valuable activities some of which have been; SPI Chamber of Commerce Islanders, P.I. Adult Reading Program, Lady's Kingfish Tournament, Pirate's Day Theater, Leadership Laguna Madre, Adopt-a-Beach and Bay Cleanups, Sand Castle Days (committee chairman), Sons of the Beach, Island Drummers, The Unlitter Campaign's Trash Art and annual Trashion Show, Keep SPI Beautiful, the South Padre Island Board of REALTORS® serving the Laguna Madre area, One Day in thr RGV, SPI Art Space and The Happy Band - an Island ukulele band. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

At different times during my years on South Padre Island I have managed a vintage clothing and costume store, been Director of Sales and Marketing at a large resort hotel and worked for a tour company, but for most of my years here I have been in real estate. I've managed rentals and homeowner's associations since 1986 and have been an active licensed real estate agent since 1993. January 2007 I earned my Texas Real Estate Broker's license [TREC 0422771] and I'm thrilled to be a mobile Independent Broker in the Laguna Madre area of south Texas. I have served as President of the South Padre Island Board of REALTORS® serving the Laguna Madre area and was voted REALTOR® of the YEAR for 2014.
